يحل النظام محل نظام السجل التجاري، الصادر بالمرسوم الملكي رقم (م / 1) وتاريخ 21 / 2 / 1416هــ، ويعمل به بعد (مائة وثمانين) يومًا من تاريخ نشره في الجريدة الرسمية.
